I’ve always wanted to create a magnetic spice rack. A while back I searched for small spice tins but couldn’t find any at a decent price. Then a couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon a pack of 20 on clearance at Target for about $3.50. So I got to work!
My Spice Rack Before
I’ve had this frame since college. I put some sheet metal from Home Depot in it and used it to display my magnetic poetry. I decided it would work great for my new spice display. So I painted it.
I Attached Magnets with My Glue Gun
Then I put small magnets on the back of each tin using a glue gun.
Free Labels from Martha Stewart
I found these spice labels for free on Martha Stewart’s website. They are cute and didn’t require any time to make. I just printed them off on self-adhesive paper. There were a few spices missing so I hand wrote those in some blank labels.
The Finished Product!
Once I cut the labels out and applied them to the tins my project was complete! It is now hanging in my pantry and I love it!
