A Di’Giorno Pizza Party… Yummy and Free!

A few weeks ago I signed up for an account at I applied to host a Di’Giorno Pizza Party and I was selected! They sent me lots of great freebies and coupons to give to my party guests, plus six coupons for free pizza!

It was so fun to go to the grocery store and walk out with $48 worth of food without paying anything! About 20 people ended up coming to the bash.

They all got to try Di’Giorno’s new Pizza and Breadsticks combo packs and everyone seemed to enjoy the free food! I’ll gladly host more parties if it means I don’t have to cook!

Top ‘O the Mornin’ To Ya!

St. Patrick’s Day is especially fun when you’re married to an Irishman. He asked for green coffee this morning, but I wasn’t sure how to pull that off. This Saturday is also a big day. It’s his fifth anniversary in the US. Five years ago he boarded a plane for Atlanta, full of American hopes and dreams. Little did he know he would fall for a girl from Iowa. You can’t get much more American than that! So in honor of St. Patty’s Day, here are some lovely photos of his homeland.

Celebrity Encounters Over the Years

A few years back I won a ticket to the Oscars. I had a front row seat for red carpet arrivals. I am probably one of the few people in the world who actually has a piece of the red carpet. That night I got about a dozen celebrity autographs and had brief conversations with stars like Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Alison Krauss, and Elijah Wood. I met lots of the stars of Lord of the Rings including Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan. I got a wave from Will Smith and a bow from Robin Williams.

As I started thinking about it, I’ve had lots of celebrity encounters over the years. But I’ve never taken the time to write them down. I decided to take a few minutes to start my list since I can be a very forgetful person. So here it goes… in no particular order… my celebrity encounters.
