It’s hard to believe, but just over a year ago we wrapped up our 1143 mile scooter journey across North and South Carolina to raise money for world water projects. We called it 2 Wheels 4 Water. It was an amazing trip that I will always remember fondly and I hope to repeat. More than camping in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot, more than living in a Pontiac for ten days with four other people, and even more than running two marathons, 2 Wheels 4 Water was a test of endurance– both physically and mentally. We met a lot of neat people, traveled some lovely southern back roads and came home with some crazy tan lines. Most importantly, we raised over $3000 to put water wells in remote villages around the world through an incredible organization called Hydromissions. In case you were wondering, Franky the Vespa is still running strong.
